Acer shirasawanum 'Aureum' is sometimes referred to as the 'Golden Full Moon' maple which is name well suited. Spring time leaves emerge a brilliant green-yellow reminiscent of a full moon. This cultivar holds its colors fairly well into summer and transforms to a brilliant display of orange and red in the fall. 'Autumn Moon' is an upright deciduous tree and will grow to 6' tall x 4' wide in 10 years. 'Autumn Moon' is an excellent choice to brighten up those dark corners of the garden. It is a larger tree well suited for bigger areas.
