Acer palmatum 'Dragon's Fire' is stunning lace leaf maple with leaves that emerge a dark purple in spring. In the fall the leaves will age to fire like colors of orange, red and yellow that are reminiscent of 'dragon fire'. 'Dragon's Fire' forms a fairly dense round shrub and will grow to 3' tall x 3' wide in 10 years. It's small size and weeping shape makes it well suited for an ornamental planter or smaller garden landscape.
