Of the giant timber bamboos, this cultivar is the smallest and is known for the stunning variegation on it's leaves. The ornamental leaves are striped with tones of white, green, beige and orange. Due to the high level of variegation, it is an extremely slow grower. Richard Haubrich is named after the founding president of the American Bamboo Society. A very rare but beautiful bamboo.
