Native to Peru and Bolivia, this unique bamboo exhibits a clambering habit. With vine like culms, this plant grows with a graceful arching characteristic. Small delicate leaves grow from tiny tufts of branches. Not recommended for growing outdoors here in the Pacific Northwest. Best suited for an enclosed structure with lots of light. Makes a very beautiful ornamental container plant for the balcony or patio but must be brought indoors for the colder seasons. An extremely rare but stunning specimen.
