The color of this genus is amazing. The new green culms are covered with a thick grey white powder giving it a stunning blue glow. The culms then slowly age to various hues of green and yellow. The internodes contain longitudinal striations and this bamboo is quick to reach tall heights. Forms a fairly open clumping habit. A very rare and ornamental plant.
