Acer palmatum 'Sagara Nishiki' is a deciduous tree that is known for it's unique variegation that outlines the edges of it's leaves. This outline accentuates the beautiful leaf shape and really makes each leaf stand out. The outlines eventually fade away as it ages into the summer. Fall colors are a nice blend of orange and yellow. An upright, slow grower and reaching 7' tall x 4' wide in 10 years.
'Sagara Nishiki' is a smaller tree and well suited for planters or the smaller garden landscape.
