Acer palmatum 'Ikandi' (pronounced 'eye candy') emerges with eye catching bright pink leaves in the spring that slowly fades to green with white variegation in the summer. During this transition, the leaves are a pattern of green, pink and white which is extremely stunning. The leaves then age to golds and yellows in the fall. 'Ikandi' is an upright grower and reaches 10' tall x 5' wide in 10 years. A beautiful stand out specimen for those seeking that focal factor in the garden. This medium sized tree is better suited for the larger landscape.
Acer palmatum 'Ikandi' was discovered and introduced by Buchholz Nursery in Oregon, USA.
