Abies concolor 'Candicans' is a white fir considered by many to be the most blue of the conifers. The long bright blue needles is the standout future for this evergreen and forms a pyramidal shape. A mature specimen can be strikingly attractive and has a blue glow that is unmatched. A very good choice for a standalone focal tree. The large size is better suited for the bigger garden or landscape.
Abies concolor 'Candicans' originated as a seedling selected by the Arboretum National des Barres, Nogent-sur-Vernisson, France
