Borinda fungosa 'White Cloud'

This cultivar of Borinda fungosa has one of the most unique and beautiful variegations of the bamboo world. The leaves are striped an almost iridescent 'white cloud' color. A mountainous bamboo, Borinda fungosa is native to the Yunnan and Sichuan provinces of China and grows at the 6000' to 8900' (1800m to 2700m) elevation range. Leaves must not be exposed to direct sun as the variegated leaves will burn.

'White Cloud' grows smaller and is less cold hardy than the original form. An exceedingly rare, but stunning bamboo.
